Anyway the movie 2012 is going to be damned entertaining, that's for sure!

Ingatan saya kembali ke masa SMA dulu. Pada sebuah kesempatan, seorang guru bertanya apa yang menjadi hobi kami. Diantara sekian banyak respons yang muncul, jawaban seorang teman membuat kami tak nyaman. Karena hobinya adalah membaca. Huh, keterlaluan, narsis, sok paten dan sangat “angkat telor”, cibir teman satu kelas.
Saya baru bisa memahami maksud dari hobi teman itu setelah belasan tahun kemudian. Membaca yang dia maksud ternyata bukan membaca dalam arti de jure; buku, majalah, surat kabar atau sejenisnya. Tapi membaca dalam arti luas. Pada praktiknya, dia mengajak hati dan pikiran untuk membaca realita. Membaca perubahan yang terjadi di sekeliling kita. Dari membaca cara ini, informasi sekecil apapun sesungguhnya bisa diperoleh, sekaligus membawa kita agar mawas diri.
Mawas diri? Kelihaian para teroris melakukan pengeboman JW Marriot dan Rich Carlton karena mereka mampu membaca situasi; menyusup ke hotel yang memiliki pengamanan ekstra. Atau memilih persembunyian yang menjungkirbalikkan seluruh teori terorisme; bersembunyi tak jauh dari kediaman Presiden (Cikeas) serta memilih rumah kos-kosan sebagai markas untuk menyusun aksi selanjutnya.
Paham ini adalah bukti jika para teroris berhasil memanfaatkan ketidakpedulian kita dalam membaca gelagat sosial masyarakat. Rasa ego dan cuek pada tetangga dan lingkungan itu ternyata menjadi senjata ampuh bagi mereka, para pelaku kejahatan.
Derajat bacaaan akan lebih tinggi jika kita berhasil membaca situasi alam. Bencana gempa yang terus mengancam beberapa tahun ke depan secara teori tak ada yang dapat memprediksi kapan dan di mana terjadi. Tapi sebuah kearifan lokal bisa mengajak kita untuk membaca tanda-tanda.

Noordin M Top yang sebelumnya diprediksi oleh beberapa pihak akan berpenampilan kelimis, bahkan mencukur habis jenggot dan kumisnya. Ternyata melakukan hal yang sebaliknya Jenggot, Cambang dan kumisnya dibiarkan tumbuh panjang. Seperti bisa dilihat di Foto Mayat tewasnya Noordin M Top setelah penggerebekan dan Baku Tembak di Solo.
Lain dengan Ibrohim alias Boim yang tewas dengan kondisi mata terbuka, Noordin M Top Tewas dan menghembuskan nafas terakhirnya dengan kondisi mata tertutup. Persamaan keduanya adalah mulut sama-sama terbuka.
Ada dua foto Noordin yang diperoleh detikcom, Kamis (17/9/2009). Who would’ve thought that the hottie 20 yr old actor turned vampire, Jamie Campbell Bower says he doesn’t like watching his own work.
“I hate that,” he told MTV News. “I don’t like to see myself up onscreen at all.” “They just won’t show it to me!” he joked, adding that he’s been so busy working, he hasn’t had a chance to catch the full picture.
“I closed my eyes and was like, ‘Oh, I just don’t want to see that,’ ” he laughed, adding that he couldn’t deal with seeing “me on the screen being a moron!” “I saw a lot of me in the ['Prisoner'] character,” he said. “And playing Caius, there is none of me in there. I just don’t eat people! It’s nice to know. You’re safe.”
These guys are just too cute for words. The entire cast is very sweet, appreciative, and humbled by this whole experience. Jamie may not want to see himself on the big screen but I’m loosing sleep just waiting for November 20th.
